Andrea Swanner

Originally hailing from the Texas Panhandle, Andrea is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University, having received an MBA and MEd as a Patriot. She owns a small craft supplies and handmade décor shop Black Swan Occasion and a business consultancy supporting passionate entrepreneurs Andrea Swanner Consulting & Business Services. She is a lover of 80s re-runs, historical fiction novels, and turkey and Swiss sandwiches. She lives in the best southwest area of North Texas and is a wife to Patrick, mom to a 22-year-old son, teenage triplet daughters, a little go-getter of a baby girl, and has three fur babies. You can find her most times between a glue gun and a grocery run or chatting up a stranger.

Jennifer Fiske

Jennifer ("Jenn") Fiske grew up in San Antonio as the only-child from a military family. She's lived in DFW for 10 years with her husband, and their family has grown to include their toddler son and a sweet puppy. Jenn is a registered dietitian nutritionist with a master's in exercise and sports nutrition. She worked with FC Dallas for several seasons while also coaching gymnastics at WOGA Frisco. Jenn is a self-proclaimed bookworm who bakes when she's stressed. Jenn loves being active through strength training and yoga and exploring parks with her son.

Nicole Tharp

Nicole was born and raised in South Carolina, went to college (where she got her BA in music) near Chattanooga, Tennessee, spent 14 years in Colorado Springs, Colorado, followed by six years in northeast Pennsylvania, and landed in Dallas in 2023. She and her husband, Doug, have three wildly amazing, outgoing, and energetic boys, ages 11, 9, and 3. In addition to exploring new places, getting outside, hanging with friends, chauffeuring her boys to soccer and other activities, and drinking lots of coffee.

Chrissy Trotter

Chrissy Trotter is an Air Force brat that got the travel bug early. After college, she worked for nearly 15 years as a commercial airline consultant. During that time, she took a travel sabbatical around the world with her husband, Bill, to visit 23 countries. To date, they have visited more than 45 countries and 46 States. They have an 11-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son and enjoy taking them on road trips or internationally whenever possible.When she’s not traveling, Chrissy is a Fora travel advisor and enjoys planning luxury and bucket-list travel for her clients. Kathy Rojas

Kathy is a native Texan who has lived in Carrollton since she was four. She holds a master's degree in counseling from SMU. After 13 years in public education, Kathy traded middle-school hallways for a small office in a private practice. She and her husband, Juan, are raising three children whose ages span from 21 to four years old. Following an autism diagnosis of their youngest son, Kathy has prioritized mental and physical health. Nothing prepares you for this news as a parent. Kathy credits her friends, family, faith, Trader Joe's, Orangetheory, and the occasional weekend getaway for keeping her fulfilled and sane.

Veda Arias

Veda Arias was born and raised in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch area of Dallas and currently resides in her hometown with her husband and twin daughters. She earned her bachelors of arts degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and her masters of science in mental health counseling from Texas Woman's University. Veda is a licensed professional counselor and a nationally certified counselor. After many years in community mental health, she opened her private practice in Dallas in 2017. Her professional website is L.V. Doubleday Counseling.Veda is first generation Guyanese-American and loves celebrating her Caribbean culture. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, gardening, exercising, and exploring new adventures.

Elisabeth Tomko

Elisabeth has worked in various communications’ roles since 2012, largely writing and editing for women’s organizations and charities. In addition to her contributor role with Dallas Moms, she works for a local anti-trafficking nonprofit in the Dallas area. Originally from Illinois, she moved to Dallas in 2020. She has a bachelor of arts in political science and co-hosts the 10 Minute Hope Show podcast, which sheds light on encouraging stories from history and today.

Leslie Bartula

Leslie graduated from the University of Notre Dame where she met her husband, Matt. After living in Chicago (and its suburbs) for 10 years, they relocated to DFW and have lived in Richardson since 2016. She is a stay-at-home mama to three boys (May 2014, February 2016, and October 2021), one girl (July 2018), and a crazy pup. She spends her free time running, reading, cooking, gardening, and adding projects to their home improvement list.
