Veda Arias was born and raised in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch area of Dallas and currently resides in her hometown with her husband and twin daughters. She earned her bachelors of arts degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and her masters of science in mental health counseling from Texas Woman's University. Veda is a licensed professional counselor and a nationally certified counselor. After many years in community mental health, she opened her private practice in Dallas in 2017. Her professional website is Veda is first generation Guyanese-American and loves celebrating her Caribbean culture. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, gardening, exercising, and exploring new adventures.
