Swiss Avenue is one of my favorite streets in 
Dallas. I love taking Kyler and our dog to go for a stroll on Swiss Ave. when the weather is nice. The homes are absolutely stunning. The architecture, design, and landscaping of these homes are all so incredible.
Well, every year the Swiss Avenue Historic District puts on a Mother’s Day event where you can tour the homes and gardens on some of the properties. I know I love seeing other people’s homes and getting ideas for decorating, and these are some pretty top of the line homes. This would be a great way to spend Mother’s Day with your own mom, some girl friends, or with the family. They also offer a brunch that you can attend after.
This is a great opportunity to celebrate being a mom and living in Dallas. There are so many interesting little pockets of culture hidden around Dallas and Swiss Avenue is one of them. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the weekend of the event. Mark your calendar, you don’t want to miss this chance to check out the mansions on Swiss Avenue!
