The leaves are changing, the temperatures are dropping, the fireplaces have been lit (since October – thanks Texas weather) and the elves have started to appear on the shelves. The Christmas decorations went up in stores months ago and the music is now officially playing on every station on the radio. The time for Santa is here!
Luckily, a little elf at Grapevine Mills let us in on a little secret… Santa was on his way! Grapevine Mills and Dallas Moms Blog acted fast and teamed up together to capture it all!
The Uptown Carolers beautiful voices filled the air as soon as the doors whisked open. The cold milk and delicious cookies were waiting to be enjoyed by all the wonderful children hurrying through the halls to get their special place in line.
There were games to be played and stories to be told and special Christmas songs to be sung. The anticipation is high, the music gets softer, you can hear the train coming around the corner and the magic fills the room. Peering over shoulders, scurrying from side to side, just trying to steal a quick glimpse of the jolly man himself. The train stops, the next glorious sounds, “Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!” It’s him, It’s really him! And he has gifts! And not just any gifts, a Build-a-Bear gift for everyone and Little Blue Truck’s Christmas book for all! We couldn’t believe it, but were truly enjoying every moment!
If you missed Santa or just want to spend more time with him, come to Dallas Moms Blog Sweets and Treats with Santa on December 8 & 9.
Thank you to all those who attended! We loved spending the morning with each of your families and hope your holiday season is just as magical as this morning was.
Thank you Grapevine Mills for the special opportunity to bring in this wonderful time of year! If you are interested in more events Grapevine Mills has to offer, check their events calendar out to plan your next special outing.
To meet Santa at Grapevine Mills, visit him during his Set hours between now and December 24, 2018. (Hours vary but you can see all times HERE.) You’ll also want to be sure to Reserve your FastPass & Skip the Line to see Santa.
Thanks for putting together such an amazing event, my kids are still talking about it!
