To provide athletic opportunities for young people through football and cheerleading, teach sportsmanship and citizenship in a positive and safe environment.

The Farmers Branch Youth Football and Cheer Association (FBYFCA) is an independent non-profit organization of parents and concerned citizens that has come together to provide a Football and Cheer experience for the youth of our community. All money goes to support team supplies and activities. This is a combined organization supporting BOTH Football and Cheer activities.

FBYFCA FootballTeams are organized with 5-6 year old’s playing flag football with 10 minute running clock quarters, and the coach on the field. 7-8 year old’s (Bantam) play tackle football, with 10 minute quarters and the coach on the field. 9-10 year old’s (Juniors), and 11-12 year old’s (Seniors) that are not already playing in Jr. High Football) play tackle football, with 10 minute quarters.

FBFYCA Cheerleaders are organized in teams with ages similar to the team they are to cheer for. As your Cheer Coach’s and Assistants we will strive to instill tradition, honor, commitment and pride in our teams and in each other. We will build a solid foundation based on trust and loyalty. We will work to be organized, consistent and supportive to make this an exemplary cheer program and a positive experience.

We schedule our regular season games with other community organizations located in the area and play in the Carrollton Youth Football League (CYFL).

In December 1998, the Crow Family opened the Trammell and Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art as a permanent Museum located on Flora Street in the Arts District. Mr. and Mrs. Crow opened the museum in an effort to share their love of Asian art and culture. Since it opened, the museum has reached hundreds of thousands of children and adults through its various exhibitions and programming. The Crow Collection is one of a handful of museums in America dedicated solely to the arts of Asia. Timeless pieces, including a magnificent Japanese rock crystal sphere, exquisite Qing dynasty jades and monumental Mughal-style architectural works are balanced alongside internationally recognized exhibitions, which fulfill the museum’s vision of bridging East and West.
