My husband and I like to pretend we are foodies. We obsess over food blogs, 75% of the TV shows we watch are about food, and prefer to dine local. Back in the pre baby days, we like to call them the boring days, we would spend hours at a restaurant starting with appetizers and always ending with a dessert.
Now that most of our meals out consist of rushing through our dinners and taking turns escorting our daughter to the bathroom (what is with toddlers and their bathroom fascinations?!) at locations you could visit almost anywhere in the country. Often, we leave with our stomachs filled but yearn for the delicious foods of our past.
Enter Artizone. Honestly, my very first thought when I learned about their business was anger. I was so mad that I didn’t think of it myself! Then my second, more rational thoughts were of appreciation for their services. Artizone is an online grocery shopping service for both ingredients and premade meals from some of Dallas’ best local vendors.
I wasn’t surprised to find out that Artizone was created out of a dream of a few foodies. What was intriguing to me was that these few individuals started their business in Israel, which to date they are still based there. They have everything a wannabe foodie like me craves. I can order ingredients to attempt to cook an amazing meal, or if I am not trusting my cooking skills (which is every day for my husband) then I can place an order online for a full meal-even wine to go with it!
Artizone services all of Dallas and if you happen to have a family member that has visited you and fell in love with La Duni’s Triple Chocolate Truffle Cake you could have it delivered nation wide. Their website is extremely user friendly, you have the option by doing a generic search or view vendors by name. There is also a way to narrow down your shopping by aisle so you don’t have to limit yourself to a particular vendor.
Another thing that I love about Artizone is the wide variety of options. While we are trying to raise our daughter to appreciate the finer tastes in life, she is still a toddler and has her picky phases. When we are in a pasta only phase, Holy Ravoli is my go to. The days I can only get her to eat fruit, I can place an order for produce and also seafood for myself from TJ’s Seafood Market. In the near future, they will be adding a baby “aisle” for your baby products needs.
Artizone is a business that prior to having my daughter I would have thought was neat, but now as a mother and the opportunities of going out for my long, relaxed dinners are a thing of the past, I realize exactly how genius it is.
If you think Artizone is a business for you (and it should be!) you can find out more information on their website or their Facebook page.
