Dedicated Rooms for Newborn Care
MD Kids cares about the safety of their newborn patients and provides a safe, welcoming space for new parents to bring their little ones. Parents of infants are invited to wait in dedicated, private rooms to avoid large waiting rooms and give mom privacy to care for her baby while seeing a provider. All newborn rooms are fully equipped with everything a provider may need to allow a family to remain in the room throughout the entire appointment.
Bilingual Medical Assistance for Non-English Families
For families who are non-English speaking, MD Kids has the newest technology to provide bilingual care when needed. MD Kids employs Bilingual Medical Assistants who can assist a provider through a Livestream in the patient room. The Bilingual Medical Assistant will work with the provider and the family as if they were in the room together; translating the family’s concerns and the provider’s questions or recommendations.
MD Kids has 17 locations across the DFW Metroplex, including locations in Oak Cliff, Plano, Prosper, Garland, Lake Highlands, Carrollton, and Cedar Hill. Their newest location in Wynnewood features 22 patient rooms, 5 on-site providers, and 4 triage rooms to provide families with immediate care either by appointment or as a walk-in.
