In the immortal words of Beyoncé, “Who run the world? GIRLS.” Never has the sentiment been truer in our beautiful metroplex than the present day. Women-owned businesses are popping up all over the place, and I am here for it, both as a customer and advocate for women-owned and -sustained businesses. I want my daughters to grow up in a vibrant community filled with strong examples of women in business and entrepreneurship. And I love that every time I look around, it seems like there are more fierce and fearless females owning their adventures.

International Women’s Day is March 8 and the theme for 2022 is #BreaktheBias. Imagine a world where women are treated with fairness and equality. Where the concept of a women- owned business is no longer something that is rare or surprising but assumed and encouraged!
