You may remember this past fall, we partnered with The Festive Kitchen for our Bump, Baby, and Beyond event at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. They did an AMAZING job of providing our moms with some delicious catered food. We had a huge spread of appetizers, desserts, and drinks all made specifically for our event. Moms in attendance munched on a variety of homemade dips, pasta salads, peach tea, and desserts– including their famous freshly baked cookies! (The Red Velvet cookies were practically inhaled!)
But this was only a “taste” of what The Festive Kitchen (based out of Richardson) can offer!
Most known for their recognizable, gourmet selections, The Festive Kitchen provides an assortment of meals whether you’re needing something for a professional or personal event…or just wanting a simple meal ready-made for dinner tonight. Their “to go” options are made fresh daily, and you can either order specific items in advance or pop-in and browse their daily selections. If you just stop by, make sure to sample some of the delicious appetizers and dips they’ll have on display. (It’ll be hard not to try them all!) Refrigerated items rotate weekly, but you an example of what you might find are Mini Meatloaves, Spinach and Artichoke Spread, Mini Crab Cakes, and Bacon/Apricot Zingers available for you to take home and put right into your oven.
One thing you’ll always find on display is their “Famous” Chicken Salad, their delicious gourmet cookie dough (Voted “Best Cookie Dough in the Big D” by D Magazine) and their It’s Freakin’ Awesome Nosh Bag!
How do you describe this bag of goodness? “It’s Freakin’ Awesome!! It’s a combination of carmalized tortilla chips, almonds, cranberries, and peanuts. A bit of salty and sweet followed by an afterthought of spice! Now that the holiday season is here, The Festive Kitchen is excited to release their famous snack in large quantities for you to bring to work parties, Christmas happy hours, or secretly devour a bag in your car.
