Back in our pre-kid days, my husband and I spent a lot of weekends at craft breweries. We lived in Chicago at the time, and it seemed like a new brewery was always opening. We even planned a weekend trip to Wisconsin with friends to visit several breweries there.
Admittedly, we don’t spend nearly as much time at breweries now. But we should! I forgot how family- (and dog!) friendly a lot of breweries are. With patio season upon us, I think it’s time we all check out some Texas breweries! The sheer number of breweries available to us in DFW and the rest of the state is astounding, so I have done my best to narrow it down for you. Below you will find some local DFW favorites, as well as those that are worth a drive. This is not an exhaustive list, so please share any favorites I missed in the comments!
Be sure to check with individual breweries for current COVID precautions as they are always changing.
Please be responsible; never drink and drive. Either assign someone in your group to be the designated driver or call an Uber, Lyft, or Taxi service.
