In case you haven’t heard, pickleball is all the rage right now. People of all ages are getting into it.
Pickleball began in 1965, but it recently hit popularity, especially here in the Dallas area. Now you can find pickleball courts popping up all over the metroplex! From basic courts to eat and play courts, enjoying pickleball is a family affair.
What Is Pickleball?
Pickleball is played on a court and has combined elements of ping pong, badminton, and tennis. You play on a badminton type court with a tennis type net. The paddle is much like a ping pong paddle and the ball is plastic with holes in it. It’s a sport mash-up! You can play for fun as a beginner or join tournaments for more serious play.
