Every Thanksgiving I love to make a treat that all my kids and all my nieces and nephews will love. Last year I made these Nutter Butter Turkey Cupcakes and they were a big hit with not only the kids, but the adults too. My son is already asking me to make these again this year!! They were super easy (and fun) to make and pretty tasty too!!
Ingredients needed:
Box mix of cupcakes
Chocolate Frosting
Nutter Butters
Candy Corn
Candy Eyes
Orange Tic Tacs
Twizzlers
Peanut Butter
Directions:
First, bake the cupcakes as directed on the package. Let them cool for a bit, then frost them with the chocolate frosting. Once they are cooled you can add the candy corn for the feathers.
While we were waiting for the cupcakes to cook and cool, my little man helped me decorate the turkey faces. We used peanut butter to stick all the pieces onto the Nutter Butters. We used Wilton candy eyes (found in the party section at Wal-Mart), an orange tic tac for the nose and a small piece of a twizzler for the gobble.
Last, you’ll just need to push the decorated Nutter Butter into the center of the cupcake.
Simple, easy, and delicious Thanksgiving treat for all ages!! You can find a printable version below and I hope you’ enjoy!!
