Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and although chocolates and flowers are nice gestures, they’re probably the last things we would say we NEED! We decided the gift-givers in our lives might benefit from a little guidance this year, so I came up with a list of “outside the box” Valentine’s gift ideas to lead them in the right direction.
Pet photography with Grace & Goose
Not all moms are human moms. Or maybe your first baby was a fur baby; having a gorgeous portrait of your best friend is always a great idea, especially for Valentine’s Day! Grace & Goose does an incredible job of capturing your fur baby’s personality and giving you some amazing images to treasure forever!
Artkive
As moms, we usually have kid’s artwork all over our house, and sometimes it becomes too much. So here’s an idea: A place to send your child’s artwork and turn it into a book! Artkive will send you a box to fill with as much artwork from your little Picasso as you’d like, and they will turn it into a custom coffee table book. This is a great gift idea for any mom as a “gift from their child” for Valentine’s Day (wink wink). BONUS: Take $20 off when you use the code DALLASMOMS
Eiland Coffee Roasters
All moms need coffee, and the best coffee on the block is Eiland Coffee, hands down. They sell their magical beans by the pound, and as a connoisseur of coffee, I can confirm this is the best coffee I’ve ever tasted!
Facial from EpiCentre
Moms need coffee to feel awake, but they need a facial to look awake, and that’s what they’ll get from EpiCentre Skin Care & Laser Center. Grab a gift certificate to take advantage of one of their current specials, and she can schedule a treatment on her own time.
Note: Not currently offered at EpiCentre, but I love an Aquagold Facial. It takes the benefits of microneedling and Botox and marries them into one amazing treatment.
Athlétique & Co.
For our fit moms or moms who love athleisure, workout gear from Athlétique & Co. would be a great gift option. They offer athleisure that helps you to feel your best no matter what you’re doing. And bonus, many of their pieces follow current trends, so you’ll know you look fresh.
Styling session with Koko & Chantelle
Unfortunately, we can’t live in athleisure. Boo! Our friends at Koko & Chantelle will come to you for an in-person styling session and closet consultation. This is a great gift for your wife who just did a closet purge and now needs to figure out what to wear!
Monogrammed Converse
Speaking of stylists, spring is just around the corner which means a footwear refresh may be necessary. Converse are always in style. One way to customize this gift and make it extra special is to add her monogram. Hello southern mamas! We highly recommend The Upstairs Monograms if you’re looking for a local monogrammer that does beautiful work!
Farmacy Skincare
If skincare is her jam and she’s in need of something new, Farmacy tops my list! There are so many skincare lines out there that claim to be “clean,” but Farmacy actually walks the walk. Farmacy is farm-to-face skincare that sources all their ingredients from local farmers and uses the healing powers of nature to create products safe for the entire family.
These are just a few ideas I’m loving right now, but we’d love to hear what’s on your wish list this year. We hope you feel loved this Valentine’s Day, and hope this list helps to check those you love off your list a little easier!
Another outside-the-box Valentine’s gift idea? A MasterClass on sex!
