Indie Summer Fair from Full House Entertainment is coming to Dallas on July 23-24, 2016 and is opening up Southfork Ranch (Parker, Texas) to families for a weekend of shopping, entertainment, and food! Designed to feel like a carnival, this first annual multi-cultural event will host a wide range of indoor and outdoor stalls for you to walk through and enjoy.
Shopping
The Indie Summer Fair will be your one-stop shop for all those interior design or wardrobe pieces you’ve been looking to add to your home. The Art Indian will be selling beautiful paintings. You can shop Glass House Collection’s handcrafted home decor and jewelry.
In addition, brands like Flower Mound Soap Works, Limited Editions by Darlene, Gimme Emporium, Kit’s Paper World and more are all going to be setting up stalls indoors for you to take a break from the heat. You’ll be able to enjoy a full 2 days of shopping with your family or friends and shop until your heart’s content!
Entertainment
While you’re enjoying your day at Indie Summer Fair, you’ll experience a wide-array of entertainment and music from Indie bands like Drama Jean and Imposchine. You’re also invited to participate in demonstrations, mini-classes, craft stations at various vendor stalls around the festival. There will be live dance groups, magicians, and more!
And it wouldn’t be a carnival without something special for the kids. Hop over to the Kid Zone for bounce houses, water games, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and other family-friendly fun. If you’re one of the lucky ones, you can even stop by DFW’s FurGotten Friends indoor booth and take home a loveable new addition to your family.
Food
If you’re looking for a way to expose your child to a variety of new tastes, then the Indie Summer Fair is what you’ve been looking for! Local restaurants and food trucks will be on hand to provide samples and plates of delicious Indian, Mediterranean, Mexican, and Asian foods.
Chennai Cafe, Stonz Lava Bar & Grill, and Ted E’s Kitchen are just a few of the food counters you’ll find, plus a bar on-site. In addition, Down to Earth – a Vegetarian & Vegan Food Truck, Maui Wowi Hawaiian Smoothies and Kona Ice Food Trucks will be rolling in to making dining a little more fun!
This summer, Indie Summer Fair invites you to this celebratory event where people from all walks of life can come together and share in one another’s cultures, take advantage of new experiences, and enjoy time with your family.
Tickets are $10 per day for anyone over the age of 12. Senior Citizens over the age of 60 are only $5 per day.
Ages 11 and under are complimentary.
