But what happens to the marriage after baby arrives?
As moms, we focus so much attention on our children and make sure they have only the best! Safety. Education. Nutrition. Products. We read books. We scour the internet. Attend mom groups to discuss the latest finds. But how often do we put this much time and energy into making our relationships with our partners better? More importantly, are we modeling a healthy marriage for our children?
This week, we are excited to bring you a series focused on the topic of marriage after kids. For 5 days, a few of our contributors will be sharing their experiences and ideas relating to their own marriage; from ways to find time for dating to more serious conversations like when mediation is needed.
Whether you have the perfect, supportive marriage or you struggle daily to find time for your spouse, we hope you’ll join us in the conversation as we put the baby’s needs aside (obviously in theory!) and focus our attention on restoring the relationship that got you the baby in the first place!
