“I don’t waaaaannnnt to go to swimming!” This phrase. Followed by huffing and puffing and tears. Every. Single. Week. We continued this routine for months until we (I) couldn’t take it anymore.

The staff is top notch and truly has bonded with my kiddos. Best of all, my son actually enjoys class and is finally swimming underwater. My soon-to-be 3 year old has become a fish. I have seriously loved every minute of every class.
Why are these folks so knowledgeable about swimming? Well, Jim Montgomery is a three time Olympic Gold Medalist from the 1976 Olympic games in Montreal. He moved to Dallas in 1979 and eventually started what is now the second largest Masters swim team in the USA. He had always wanted to start a swim school and over the past year has been developing a plan. Jim Montgomery Swim School opened on January 5th and the certified instructors are loving what they do!
They are very passionate about teaching a love of the water and water safety to all ages. And I’m just thrilled that my kids are now hollering “I can’t waaiiiiiiit to go to swimming!”
