I come from a long line of coffee drinkers. Typically, I just add a splash of half and half and that’s it. Every once in a while, though, I like to buy a flavored creamer, and the flavors are especially enticing around the holidays.
I found a recipe for a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew several months ago. I “pinned” it and then promptly forgot about it. (This is why I must write everything down!) Then a few weeks ago, I was scrolling Pinterest and came across the recipe again. I just so happened to have all the ingredients in my refrigerator, so I decided to give it a try. It was so good! This recipe works in both hot coffee and iced coffee (Hello, fall in Texas!). The recipe was such a success I wanted to try my hand at creating a few more.
I used the same base recipe and created a Peppermint Mocha Creamer and a Cinnamon Snickerdoodle Creamer. These both work well in hot or iced coffees as well. If you are not a coffee drinker, I think they would also be a really tasty addition to hot chocolate.
Just add a splash to your coffee and you’ll feel extra festive this holiday season! If you want to make it a little more like your favorite coffee shop treat, try using my favorite frother in the creamer before adding your coffee.
