Summer is right around the corner, and like you, moms everywhere are searching for ways to entertain their kids during the summer months. Why not get your child involved in an activity that is not only fun but teaches them the value of helping others?
Benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC), the KidSwing Golf Tournament is a 9-hole, best ball scramble for players ages 5-15 at all levels of golfing ability. KidSwing is a day filled with lots of fun, friends and golf, but the mission of the event is clear. It’s all about kids helping kids!
Created in 2003, by a former Scottish Rite patient as a way to give back, KidSwing has raised more than $1.7 million for the hospital. There is no registration fee to play, but participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 for the patients of TSRHC, and prizes are awarded to participants who go above and beyond to reach additional benchmark fundraising levels. The day concludes with a pool party and a special awards program where players are recognized for their fundraising accomplishments and TSRHC patients share their personal stories that will be sure to warm your heart.
Each year, thousands of children are treated at TSRHC for orthopedic conditions, such as scoliosis, clubfoot, hip disorders, hand conditions and limb length discrepancies, as well as certain neurological conditions and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. These children receive expert care tailored for their specific needs. The funds raised through KidSwing help make the hospital’s mission possible.
Kids will cherish the lessons learned and the memories made at KidSwing, so register your child today for one of the three tournaments located in:
