Classic Rides & Timeless Vibes at the Village Shops’ Classic Car & Truck Show
The Classic Car & Truck Show is back at the Castle Hills Village Shops from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 22. The Village Shops are located at 2540 King Arthur Blvd. in Lewisville. The event is FREE for spectators, and everyone is welcome! Bringing together classics, hot rods and mods, the show allows attendees to chat with car owners with a side of food and fun.
Time Machine Car Shows features the area’s finest hot rods, classic cars and trucks, several with the latest technology. If you want to show off your classic beauty you can pay a $10 entry fee and be eligible to win awards and prizes in categories such as Castle Hills Pick, Best of Show Car and Best of Show Truck. Three new categories have been added this year Best of Show Engine, Best of Show Interior, and Best of Show Paint. Registration is from 8 to 10 a.m. The show is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with awards starting around 12:30 p.m. Those interested in showing cars can get more information from Brittany at 940-600-9651 or [email protected].
Make sure to refuel along the route at one of the Village Shops’ popular spots like Sophia’s Kitchen or the Netflix-featured The London Baker. Start your day with breakfast at Hills Café, then after the show, treat yourself to a burger and a beer at The Grind Burger Bar, grab a slice at PI.E 3.14, or enjoy some street tacos at T.B.D. Kitchen. For a taste of international flavors, Z’s Wok and Kanzi offer mouthwatering Asian cuisine or if you need a few snacks stop in at the Village Market.
The Castle Hills Village Shops offer a pleasant neighborhood experience with a variety of unique retailers and conveniences. The area is enhanced by tree-lined walkways, beautifully landscaped gardens, and water features, including a popular interactive fountain and ample shaded outdoor seating.
