Notre Dame School, recognizing that each person is created in the image of God, educates students with developmental disabilities and facilitates their integration into society. Notre Dame School serves students with developmental disabilities ages 6-21.  The school has been in existence for over 50 years. We offer a curriculum that builds not only academics skills but independent living and social skills.  Notre Dame offers a low to student to teacher ratio of 5:1 as well as small classes and experienced teachers with long tenures at the school.  In addition we offer Special Olympics sports (including cheerleading) as well as other after school activities such as Karate, Young Life and dance classes.  The school also has an aftercare program until 6 pm and a bus service in the northern sector of the city. We hope the gymnast has as much fun as possible while learning at the optimal level. We strive to challenge the gymnast as much as possible, while allowing the gymnast to continue to love the sport!

We believe that outstanding performance is achieved by the accumulation of skill and confidence in a progression. Gymnastics is the best sport in the world to teach this discipline, a quality that benefits a child in gymnastics and in life!

FBSA seeks to implant in the youth of this community ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence so they may be finer, stronger and happier youths who will grow to be good, clean, healthy adults. This objective shall be reached by providing supervised, competitive baseball/softball games. The Managers and Coaches shall bear in mind at all times that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or winning of games is secondary and the molding of the future citizens is of prime importance.

Started in 2007, the Frisco Farmers’ Market continues to grow in popularity. The market was founded by the Frisco Noon Lions Club for the benefit of our community. Today, the market is managed by the Rotary Club of Frisco. Local growers offer juicy melons, peaches, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh corn on the cob and lots more. Also offered are baked breads, meat from local ranchers, honey, arts and crafts, and various other products.

The market allows consumers to have access to locally grown, farm fresh produce, enables farmers the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with their customers, and cultivate consumer loyalty with the farmers who grow the produce. Come grow with us!

The Garland Volleyball Association exists to provide opportunities for children in Garland, Texas, and surrounding cities to learn and enjoy the game of volleyball. Recreational leagues, clinics, and skills camps are offered throughout the year. GVA activities promote the development of skills and the ideals of good sportsmanship. Through these organized athletic activities, GVA will contribute to the growth and development of the sport of volleyball in the Garland area.

Until this year, the White Rock Market was held every other Saturday at Green Spot. But this year, we have made a change: Our Lakeside Market and White Rock have now combined. in 2016, the Lakeside Market will now be every Saturday at Lakeside Baptist Church – just a mile from the former Green Spot location – from March to December.
