The Arboretum opened its doors in 1984, combining the 44-acre DeGolyer Estate and the 22-acre Alex Camp House to create a horticultural masterpiece in North Texas. Today, 19 named gardens and numerous areas within combine to create one of the premier Dallas landmarks. The vibrant color displays in these gardens engage visitors of all ages throughout the seasons.

The Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden was designed to connect children with nature. Education is a central focus of our mission, which is why we are delighted to be able to teach life and Earth science to both school children and their teachers as well as families. Enjoy 8 acres of fun overlooking the beautiful White Rock Lake.

With over 150 individual kid friendly activities, the children’s garden features The Texas Skywalk, The Moody Oasis, a Walk in the Clouds, and more. Find out why the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden is the best family friendly attraction in Dallas.

Carrollton Youth Football League(CYFL) is a non-profit organization delivering athletic programs for the children of our community and surrounding areas that develop teamwork, physical conditioning, goal setting, sportsmanship, self-esteem, competitive spirit, and other positive attributes to enable them to achieve greater gains in school, and in life. It is our hope that the volunteers involved with our organization set positive examples of how to give back to the community — and in doing so, set the stage for the children we serve to one day carry on the tradition of service through involvement with youth sports.

CYFL provides youth football, cheerleading & drill programs for ages 5-12. CYFL carries a proud 30-year history heading into our 2016 season. The program accommodated 400+ boys and 100+ girls spread across 21 teams in the 2015 season.

Flagfootball4fun youth sports programs are committed to providing a safe, fun and skill-based experience for kids between the ages of 4 and 14. We are a national youth sports company with local flag leagues, football camps and cheerleading in over 25 communities.

The Health Benefits of Flag Football and Cheerleading

At FlagFootball4Fun, we understand this, so we do everything we can to reduce the risk of injury and increase the health benefits of our flag football and cheerleading camps and games.

Our flag football teams are coached by experienced coaches, many of whom have professional and college-level experience. Their commitment to helping our kids get in great shape is even bigger than their commitment to having a good time.

Our cheerleaders are taught to stretch, run, and get in great shape, just like the football teams. The physical strength it takes to cheer through an entire game is the same or greater than it does to play football the whole time. And our cheerleaders have to do it with a smile!

The importance of physical exercise for children can’t be overstated. The risks of injury in flag football are significantly lower than in tackle football and many other sports.

FlagFootball4Fun and Texas Football

Our children learn to play football and to play together. More importantly, they learn to stay in great shape and feel better. At FlagFootball4Fun, we are committed to our children’s physical health, now and for the rest of their lives.
