or exploring the many interactive exhibits and kid’s activities in our educational play space.
Adults are welcome to join in on the adventure, or sit back and relax
while their children discover a world that is just their size in our interactive children’s museum.
You are welcome to bring your kids up to the Treefort during the week or on Sundays to play!
- We do not take reservations for the treefort
- No food or drink is allowed on the treefort
- Playtime in the treefort will not be supervised by a Watermark Staff Member or Volunteer. Adults will need to monitor children at all times.

Krista, Doherty Nutrition’s Pediatric Registered Dietitian, is from Chicago, Illinois where she was previously working at La Rabida Children’s Hospital. During this time, she developed a passion for working with children of all ages and medical complexities. Krista is a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition as well as a Certified Lactation Counselor.
Krista has experience working with children and families who may struggle with nutrition complications associated with growth, prematurity, food allergies, breastfeeding difficulties, developmental delays, gastrointestinal issues, picky eating/problem feeding, as well as general guidelines for introducing solids and baby-led weaning.
Carpe Diem Private Preschool is a private preschool serving children from infancy through pre-kindergarten. The Northern Texas PGA offers a Team Golf Developmental Program which allows junior golfers (ages 7 to 14) to participate in 9 hole tournaments using a team format. It is geared towards the beginning level golfer who has little or no tournament experience and utilizes a format that provides for a less stressful playing environment.
Team Golf is played using a “best-ball” format in which players are paired up with another member of their team. That pair then plays 9 holes using the best score of the 2 players on each hole. This best-ball format allows each player to have a fun competitive experience without the pressures that an individual tournament format can produce.

Founded in 1983, the nationally acclaimed Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is committed to introducing, promoting and growing the game of golf to a diverse group of kids in North Texas and instilling in them the positive, character developing traits for which the game is so well known. The Richardson Gymnastics center is equipped with the finest gymnastics equipment available in order to offer your child the safest program possible. Recessed trampolines, training pits, and equipment scaled to meet all ages and levels, ensure that the proper skill progressions can be taught, fears are reduced, and a safe environment provided.
Located in the “Historic Silos” of Carrolloton and desiginated a historical landmark on May 21st, 2011. Used by climbers of all ages and abilities from scouts to world class climbers, no one in Dallas wanted to see the “Silos” closed.
“The North Texas OPC” as it is called includes indoor rock climbing, outfitting, rock climbing & wilderness trips, backpacking gear rentals, kayak rentals, instructional courses in both rock climbing & backpacking as well as a map room, book room and snack bar.
The North Texas Outdoor Pursuit Center will be housed in the newly historically renovated grain silos, the historical renovation includes new historically correct lighting through out circa. 1940, Architectural 1940’s barn/farmhouse features include corrugated metal, knotty pine flooring, front counter features, painting schemes, glass floor showcasing the original grain processing equipment as it sits today, lounge area showcasing the research document and photos used to get historical designation, remodeled restrooms circa. 1940 and much more.
