Until this year, the White Rock Market was held every other Saturday at Green Spot. But this year, we have made a change: Our Lakeside Market and White Rock have now combined. in 2016, the Lakeside Market will now be every Saturday at Lakeside Baptist Church – just a mile from the former Green Spot location – from March to December.
Close to the Arboretum, Little Forest Hills and Casa Linda, Lakeside Market has trail-blazed the revitalization of Garland Rd. It’s a neighborhood destination for local produce, artisan foods and crafts, and community. We look forward to seeing everyone there every week!

In December 1998, the Crow Family opened the Trammell and Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art as a permanent Museum located on Flora Street in the Arts District. Mr. and Mrs. Crow opened the museum in an effort to share their love of Asian art and culture. Since it opened, the museum has reached hundreds of thousands of children and adults through its various exhibitions and programming. The Crow Collection is one of a handful of museums in America dedicated solely to the arts of Asia. Timeless pieces, including a magnificent Japanese rock crystal sphere, exquisite Qing dynasty jades and monumental Mughal-style architectural works are balanced alongside internationally recognized exhibitions, which fulfill the museum’s vision of bridging East and West.
Established in 1903, the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) is among the 10 largest art museums in the country. General admission is FREE! every day.
Underground parking is available at the Museum’s garage on a first-come, first-served basis for a flat fee of $12. The DMA Cafe is located near the Museum’s North Entrance in the Hamon Atrium and features a casual fare menu.
The Center for Creative Connections (C3) space includes Arturo’s Nest (0-4 year olds) and the Young Learners Gallery (5-8 year olds).
The museum also has several ongoing programs for families.
If you are looking for a sport for your daughter which guarantees smiles, accomplishment, and self esteem:
Be inspired. The rules of the game haven’t changed much since you played ball in a back lot or a distant farmer’s grassy field.
Be cheerful. The parents still yell for their favorite player, and the sun still shines on America’s favorite pasttime.
Be proud. There are still hotdogs to gobble up, and the elation you will feel watching your daughter make a throw to first base — can never be captured on even the best video camera.
Be mindful. Our first priority, and in many respects, our ONLY priority is your daughter’s safety and well-being. But there are things to learn. And life must be experienced (with the proper safety equipment) to be appreciated. We are here to help.
Be giving. We are an organization of people. We want the same things for our children that you want for yours. Join us and meet good people who are working together to make life grand! We appreciate our volunteers as much as our umpires and coaches.
Be loyal. Maybe you were once a player, but today, you are a parent — a fan of the best, most important player since Babe Ruth: your daughter.
Be watchful. The bases will load up. The score will be tied. The crowd will be silent. And your daughter will be the one who comes up to bat. We guarantee excitement!
The Coppell Girls Softball Association extends an invitation to you to become part of the fun. We are here for your daughter. We are here for you.

Throughout our lives, we work with others to achieve common goals. Physical fitness and health are important, but teamwork is a skill more valuable than tumbling or athletic ability. Our athletes have learned sportsmanship and learned to work toward shared goals. We have collected more than enough trophies, banners, medals, rings, and jackets to fill our gyms, but we are most proud of the life lessons that we have given the athletes in our program.
