North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing the character of youth through quality performing arts education and family entertainment. NTPA’s vision is to light the passion of the performing arts for our youth, and ensure all youth have the opportunity for the profound experience of taking the stage and having their voices heard.
North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA) was founded in 1991 as the Plano Children’s Theatre and is headquartered in Plano, Texas. Its founder, Sara Akers, is a treasured member of the team and today oversees NTPA’s community outreach and diversity-expansion efforts. NTPA offers classes, camps, and productions in Collin and Dallas Counties for young people ages five through 18, and adult programming through its NTPA Repertory Theatre.
Zanyfun Trunks are trunks FULL of fun, cool dress up costumes for kids (age 4-8).
We have many themes to choose from, enough costumes for 20+ kids at a time, and offer FREE local delivery.
Kids can get imaginative, silly, and super zany with our costumes.

Write On! is first and foremost a place for writers ~ reluctant, struggling, and proficient. Write On! is for ALL writers looking for a place to write that isn’t solely for academic purposes or obligation but because they need to improve or have a love for writing, just like we do.

Utilizing a multi-sensory and hands-on approach, we use research-based teaching strategies to teach kids and build a strong academic foundation. Rooted in diagnostic assessment, we choose a systematic curriculum and tailor it to best meet each and every child’s specific needs and learning styles ranging from dyslexia to ADHD. Our goal at I Heart Learning is to create a fun and creative environment to foster a passion for reading and to build self-confidence. When given access to this premier instruction, students see up to 50% growth in reading scores in just a few months of instruction. Every student begins with a skills assessment that helps us identify the right instruction for your child. No curriculum is a one size fits all, so we customize lessons based on each student and their needs. No matter the “diagnosis” we create a plan based on your child’s learning profile. The City of Richardson has five outdoor pools for public swimming. In addition to the main pools, Glenville Pool has a splash playground and Terrace Pool and Canyon Creek Pool have baby pools. Scheduled Learn-to-Swim and Lifesaving classes are taught by Red Cross certified instructors. A fee is charged based on the individual class.
Our newest addition is the Heights Family Aquatic Center which was opened in the Summer of 2013. Here you can enjoy a leisure pool with a current channel, vortex, and splash features in our beach front entry. Extra Innings is everything baseball and softball. You can use our batting cages or tunnels, receive professional instruction, or buy equipment at our nationally recognized Pro Shop. We also have video games and a great room to host a Birthday Party!
Our batting cages and Pro Shop are open to walk-in visits. However, Reservations are recommended for private lessons, clinics and use of the tunnels.
Extra Innings offers private (1 student) and group lessons (3 or more students) on the mechanics of pitching, hitting and fielding.
