FBSA seeks to implant in the youth of this community ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence so they may be finer, stronger and happier youths who will grow to be good, clean, healthy adults. This objective shall be reached by providing supervised, competitive baseball/softball games. The Managers and Coaches shall bear in mind at all times that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or winning of games is secondary and the molding of the future citizens is of prime importance.
FMYSA started in 1990 to provide children in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas with a safe and organized environment to learn how to play baseball and softball in a recreational atmosphere. FMYSA has grown rapidly, with thousands of boys and girls playing baseball and softball on hundreds of teams.
We offer both Spring and Fall seasons. Our seasons generally run as follows:
Spring, early March to early June.
Fall, early September to late October.
Teams generally play 12 games in the Spring season and 10 games in the Fall season, generally 2 games a week. Weeknight games begin no earlier than 5:30 pm, with the last game starting around 8:00. Times vary by age group, with the younger age groups (5 and 6) playing the earlier games. Saturdays are big at FMYSA! Almost every team plays, with the first games usually starting at 9:00 am.
Extra Innings is everything baseball and softball. You can use our batting cages or tunnels, receive professional instruction, or buy equipment at our nationally recognized Pro Shop. We also have video games and a great room to host a Birthday Party!
Our batting cages and Pro Shop are open to walk-in visits. However, Reservations are recommended for private lessons, clinics and use of the tunnels.
Extra Innings offers private (1 student) and group lessons (3 or more students) on the mechanics of pitching, hitting and fielding.
D-BAT Lewisville is the Premier Baseball and Softball training facility in the country. In addition to private baseball and softball lessons, we offer pitching machines with real baseballs and dimple softballs, a fully-stocked Pro shop, over 50 camps and clinics and more. D-BAT was founded in 1998 and is considered by many to be one of the premier baseball and softball training organizations in the country. The original D-BAT facility was located in North Dallas (Addison) with two employees – Cade and Kyle Griffis. As a former collegiate and professional baseball player, Cade has a core belief that each player plays a different game and should be taught to maximize his or her talents to suit their game.

Coppell Baseball Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the administrative body for youth baseball between the ages of 5 to 16 in which players are grouped into leagues for the Coppell Independent School District. The individual age appropriate leagues are designed to provide organized baseball activities focusing on individual instruction and teamwork in a positive, constructive and fun environment. CBA believes that if you teach young people to play by the rules, they will learn to live by the rules.
The leagues are designed to help young people develop into better adults through participation in organized, supervised competitive athletics. Sportsmanship, teamwork, self reliance, and self-discipline are some of the positive characteristics that are learned, along with how to win and how to accept defeat, by participation in organized league play. The Association (known as CBA) offers a variety of programs for inexperienced players to seasoned veterans looking for a competitive environment.
Centerfield Baseball Academy lessons are designed to enhance the 5 tools of baseball: hitting for average, hitting for power, arm strength, speed and defensive ability. By focusing on the fundamentals players of all ages and skill levels can become better baseball players.
Teaching youth baseball players important drills and correcting bad habits at an early age allows them to get a jump on their competition. Centerfield Baseball Academy boasts the finest coaches to work our sessions, including current and former pro players as well as current and former college players. Our staff of instructors is dedicated to helping bring out the best in youth baseball players across the state.
Athletic Performance Enhancement offers Professional Baseball Instruction from ages 7-18. We are the #1 Professional Baseball Instruction Facility in the Dallas-ForthWorth Metroplex. APE also offers Strength and Conditioning programs for Males and Females while also specializing in Injury Prevention. Themed art camps for ages 5 – 13. Each camp includes clay, sculptures, painting and drawing. One-week (Monday thru Friday) session, weekdays morning (9am to 12 noon) or afternoon (1pm- 4pm).
J Summer Camps are available for children ages 2 through pre-K, as well as kids entering grades K-9. Teens 15 years and older are invited to participate as camp staff. Each camp is led by experienced and enthusiastic Adventure Guides.
Special interest camps include tennis, gymnastics, sports and performing arts. For the kids who want to do it all, Camp Chai incorporates swimming, sports, creative arts, music, science, Jewish traditions and more!

When given access to this premier instruction, students see up to 50% growth in reading scores in just a few months of instruction. Every student begins with a skills assessment that helps us identify the right instruction for your child. No curriculum is a one size fits all, so we customize lessons based on each student and their needs. No matter the “diagnosis” we create a plan based on your child’s learning profile.
