In December 1998, the Crow Family opened the Trammell and Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art as a permanent Museum located on Flora Street in the Arts District. The Crow Collection is one of a handful of museums in America dedicated solely to the arts of Asia. The Farmers Branch Youth Football and Cheer Association (FBYFCA) is an independent non-profit organization of parents and concerned citizens that has come together to provide a Football and Cheer experience for the youth of our community. All money goes to support team supplies and activities. This is a combined organization supporting BOTH Football and Cheer activities.
FBYFCA FootballTeams are organized with 5-6 year old’s playing flag football with 10 minute running clock quarters, and the coach on the field. 7-8 year old’s (Bantam) play tackle football, with 10 minute quarters and the coach on the field. 9-10 year old’s (Juniors), and 11-12 year old’s (Seniors) that are not already playing in Jr. High Football) play tackle football, with 10 minute quarters.
FBFYCA Cheerleaders are organized in teams with ages similar to the team they are to cheer for. As your Cheer Coach’s and Assistants we will strive to instill tradition, honor, commitment and pride in our teams and in each other. We will build a solid foundation based on trust and loyalty. We will work to be organized, consistent and supportive to make this an exemplary cheer program and a positive experience.
We schedule our regular season games with other community organizations located in the area and play in the Carrollton Youth Football League (CYFL).

Splash Factory is an interactive water park located at 601 E. Grand Prairie Road, just south of Jefferson and west of Beltline behind Charley Taylor Recreation Center.
The Splash Factory features age-specific play areas including a water wall, ground sprays, play structures, a magic touch water gun, spray cannons and power geysers. Six touch buttons allow children to interact with the play features.
At maximum capacity, the Splash Factory can pump 2,000 gallons of re-circulated water per minute, enough to fill an average in-ground backyard swimming pool in 11 minutes. To conserve water, the city installed a swimming filter and chlorination system that re-circulates water through the park. Staff monitor and enforce age requirements for the different play areas.

The Northern Texas PGA offers a Team Golf Developmental Program which allows junior golfers (ages 7 to 14) to participate in 9 hole tournaments using a team format. It is geared towards the beginning level golfer who has little or no tournament experience and utilizes a format that provides for a less stressful playing environment.
Team Golf is played using a “best-ball” format in which players are paired up with another member of their team. That pair then plays 9 holes using the best score of the 2 players on each hole. This best-ball format allows each player to have a fun competitive experience without the pressures that an individual tournament format can produce.
