We believe that giving girls a strong foundation in body literacy sets them up for success in all areas of life: when a woman loves and respects her body, she will not accept anything less than the respect of others. To provide the support and education necessary for radical self-confidence, we offer classes for girls and teens on understanding puberty and the menstrual cycle. Mothers or adult female relatives are encouraged to attend with their daughters to share their experiences and expand their own knowledge.

Our online program provides children 0-5 years old with the richest and most wholesome early learning experience at home. Our professional educators have developed a complete experience-based program that targets all academic areas to get children feeling ready and excited about kindergarten, while having in mind that life goes way beyond academics and should also nurture life-long love for learning, independence and an array of Thinking Skills. Literacy, math and science, are all targeted. We are confident that children learn best through fun, hands-on, minds-on exploration, novelty, collaboration, bonding and connection to real life. These concepts are core to any of our classes. Concept Maps, Graphs, Visible Thinking and other brain-based teaching strategies are utilized to help children truly learn and develop their young minds. Our virtual preschool program fits any family’s schedule, needs and interests. The goal of our program is to promote literacy, mathematical and scientific skills in an engaging hands-on, minds-on format that excites children about learning, getting them ready to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. Children 3-5 years explore academic concepts hands-on and minds-on through cooking, engineering, performing science experiments and exploring books together, allowing them to experience how these concepts work in real life. Fencing was one of the first sports to be recognized in modern Olympics. Fencing has been described as “chess with muscles,” suggesting that complicated strategy lies behind the thrusts and parries that punctuate a duel. Fencers of today employ a combination of archaic and modern customs; combatants still salute before a match and wear the traditional white uniforms and masks, but scoring is now determined by electronic padding worn by the combatants that registers when a hit takes place with flashing, color-coded lights.

The Gymnastics Place has been in business for over 25 years and has been under the current ownership of Billy Booth for the past 16 years. Billy has been actively involved in gymnastics for over 35 years. Before owning The Gymnastics Place, Billy coached state, regional, and national champion gymnasts. While under Billy’s directorship, 22 former team members received full gymnastics scholarships to Universities across the United States. Billy has also served as a member of the State USA Gymnastics Board for over 22 years. In 1998, Billy was elected as a Life Member in the Gymnastics Association of Texas for his service to children and coaches throughout the years.
