This past Tuesday, September 16th, Dallas Moms Blog hosted our 6th DFW Moms Night Out!
We’ve come a long way from our first event at The Float Spot. Over the last few years, we’ve ventured from West Frisco to The Shops at Legacy in Plano, over to Watters Creek, down to Highland Park, and back up to Addison. While each event has been an adventure and loads of fun, our event on Tuesday was one of the best yet!
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of some great Watters Creek businesses making themselves available. Moms kicked off the night at The Lash Lounge for a private shopping event with complimentary champagne and desserts.
Beginning at 7:30pm, moms headed out onto the lawn for more private shopping from Apricot Lane, Willa Boutique, and Pure Barre. Other Watters Creek businesses like Massage Heights, Luke’s Locker, and Michael’s provided incredible deals, samples, and special offers for all the moms who stopped by their tables.
We also invited a few local brands and mom-owned businesses to join in on the fun! Previous Dallas Moms Blog sponsor Sound Sleepers, Greenling DFW, Happy Family Foods, and Groovy Beets were available to chat and provided several great giveaways.
New to this event, moms were also given the opportunity to chat with Co-Title Sponsor Dr. Bradley Hubbard of Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute! Dr. Hubbard was able to answer questions moms had about facial fillers, Botox, and other cosmetic procedures. Plus, 5 moms won FREE Botox and helped Dr. Hubbard demonstrate how simple these procedures are in front of our audience. Each mom also walked away with an incredible gift bag in their swag bags valued at over $500! And thanks to Tangerine Salon and Toni & Guy a few moms got to relax a little too!
Moms were treated to some yummy treats courtesy of Market Street of Allen who provided delicious fall themed snacks. Vestals Foods brought a variety of artisan cheeses, fruit, and crustinis. A favorite of Dallas Moms Blog — Western Son Vodka provided by Sally Batt of Keller Williams Realty was stationed and ready to serve samples of their latest Hill Country Peach and Grapefruit vodkas.
Our favorite part of the evening was our “Moms’ Fashion” Fashion Show sponsored by Willa Boutique. One week before our event, five lovely moms went in for a styling session with the ladies at Willa Boutique. Each mom was given two outfits to wear at DFW Moms Night Out– one casual for daytime wear and the other for evening’s out–complete with shoes, handbags, and accessories. Each mom strutted her stuff on our Watters Creek runway and our audience got to choose their favorite outfits for the Fall season!

Thank you so much for all you wonderful ladies that came up for such a great night and we hope you too advantage of your time to shop and help support Heroes for Children. We had such a fun time and are already looking forward to the next one! And can we give some mad props (Is it still cool to say that?) to our amazing event photographer for the night?! For being the only male in a sea of over 150 women, he did an amazing job keeping cool and capturing so many great moments.
Please be sure to check out Ryan O’Dowd Photography. He is such a talented photographer AND he’s a dad, so he knows how to capture those sweet moments of your little ones. I think he deserves a big pat on the back for surviving all those women in one small area all night!

As always, until next time ladies. . .
