Whether it’s while the in-laws are in town or you actually hire a sitter, we all love to sneek away and grab a quiet dinner with our hubby. Well, next time you have the opportunity, try out Woodlands.
This is mine and Gabe’s go-to place for date night. It’s great food and great service- every time, without fail. It sits at the intersection of Preston and Forest and is built to resemble a Frank Lloyd Wright building. I love the architecture and design, inside and out.
Between the two of us, and my parents who love to go when they’re in town, we’ve tried most things on the menu. A few of our favs: the bison burger (served with yummy sweet potato fries!), the chopped greens with chicken, the fish tacos (Gabe likes them grilled-not fried), the campanelle pasta, and the grilled salmon. For a drink, I love the Fallingwater Martini- it’s pear!- and it’s wonderful!
Gabe and I love this place and I just thought you should know about it too. So the next time you get to go grab dinner together, try Woodlands Grill.
