What to Know When You Attend a Texas Rangers Game with Kids
Baseball season is in full swing. If you’re thinking about going to a Rangers game with kids, here’s EVERYTHING you need to know.

Visitors of all ages step back in time as they ride the Vintage Railroad from Grapevine to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Rides are 12:30 – 7:00 p.m. Tickets range from $18 – $72 per person.

The Nasher Sculpture Center features a rotating schedule of artsy things to see and do, including story time and treats for kids of all ages. This free event runs 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Just for Kids – Music Makers
Kids will explore music at this monthly get-together to create, play, and learn from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The free event at Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market is open to the public. Online registration required.
Pancake Breakfast Fly-In
See planes, trains, classic automobiles, and a children’s zone from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Midway Regional Airport. Event admission is free. Breakfast tickets are $3 for kids under eight and $7 for all other ages.

Explore the world of dinosaurs at this sensory-friendly event for all ages at the Dallas Zoo. Modifications, special activities, and a sensory haven will be offered from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. General public tickets are $14. Members pay $4.

Fair Park Juneteenth Festival
Experience a joyous blend of fun, food, family, and community service in the heart of South Dallas. The festival takes place in the automotive building beginning at 9:00 a.m. Admission is free for all ages.

Teens ages 13 – 17 will slice, dice, chop, and sharpen their way to culinary-level knife skills during this course for beginners at Central Market in Dallas. Class is 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. and costs $60.

Kids of all ages and experience levels will enjoy a day of fishing at Ablon Park in Garland at 10:00 a.m. Equipment is provided or bring your own. Early bird admission starts at $5, and the first 100 kids to register get a fishing rod.

Board game adventures await at the Richardson Public Library as part of its Summer Reading Program. Players of all ages participate in librarian-led games or venture into solo play from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. This is a free event.

Guests will learn about Comanche Nation heritage at Richardson city council chamber featuring guest speaker, Hawana Townsley. All ages are welcome to attend the event from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Admission is free.
