If you’re an active mom, you might have run a 5K, hiked a trail, or danced through a Zumba class, but you’ve never seen the city like this. For the first time, Dallas Bike Ride is closing the streets of Dallas from cars to celebrate life on two wheels.

It is an event where your whole family can get outdoors, get active, and see the city like you’ve never seen it before. For one day only, they are closing the streets so that bikers can ride through downtown Dallas safely with no cars.
On Saturday, November 4th, 2017 from 8am to 1pm, bike through the heart of Dallas with the city’s only closed-road, car-free, family-friendly bike event. Families, friends, and neighbors will all ride together through the streets of downtown Dallas. Kids ages 3 to 7 can ride for free while youth ages 8 to 15 are half price and bike rentals are available.
The route will start and end downtown at Dallas City Hall and weaves through Downtown, the Arts District and Uptown, before going down through the Design District and crossing over into West Dallas. The route then goes through Kessler, Bishop Arts and Oak Cliff before returning to City Hall Plaza. It will feature miles of incredible views, historical landmarks, on-course entertainment, and pit stops along the route with snacks and water. You’ll enjoy the beautiful Dallas skyline while being with an amazing, growing community of people who love to bike.
After the ride, you’ll celebrate your accomplishment at the Finish Festival party at City Hall Plaza with live music, food trucks and activities for all ages.
