We visited The Rustic during our stay at the Hilton Anatole. The farm-to-fork restaurant is just a few miles from the Hilton Anatole and the Texas-Sized Savings promotion means Hilton guests save 10% on food at The Rustic. We enjoyed the live music and friendly service. You’re going to want to try their Community Kinsman Sangria. Or kick it up a notch with The Gentlemen’s Margarita. We loved the Wood-Grilled Artichoke and The Rustic Burger is hands-down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
Exploring new and tried and true places in Dallas is always fun, and during this trip we made time to explore the hotel as well. If you have stayed at the Hilton Anatole, you know that it features the largest art and antiques collection ever assembled in an American hotel.
We spent hours wandering the hotel and taking in the incredible artwork and antiques. We stood for several minutes watching the kinetic sculpture, Nebula. And we were amazed to see a segment of the Berlin Wall up close.
Many of us with young kids have visited the Hilton Anatole for JadeWaters, the resort pool with a lazy river, splash and play area for kids and two winding water slides. But when you’re there on a couples stay, as Zach and I were this time, you can enjoy the 23-seat swim-up bar. Adults only! A wonderful way to stay cool as summer winds down (but still somehow heats up) in Dallas.
It’s hard to name one favorite thing about the Hilton Anatole because there are so many lovely things to say about a stay at this location. Just be sure that any stay includes an appointment at V Spa, in the Verandah Club at the hotel. Get pampered with the V Spa Signature Facial and leave feeling refreshed and about 10 years younger. I added enhancements this time – microdermabrasion and collagen mask – and I can’t wait to go back just to get pampered again. The massage services are also excellent and feature aromatherapy that Zach really enjoyed. If you’re staying as a couple, the spa offers The Couple’s Escape which includes massage and champagne. And, a signature facial is 20% off for all Texas-Sized Savings guests staying at the Hilton Anatole or any other Hilton property in DFW. Sounds blissful, doesn’t it?
It is amazing how much there is to do right inside Hilton Anatole. There are shops inside with everything from yoga wear to toys to Christmas ornaments. And there is the 24-hour Counter Offer with quick bites and more if you’re in a rush. Or visit the Verandah Club, the full-service health club, to get your workout in for the day. There are plenty of dining options as well.
We tried the Terrace Breakfast Café before checking out and I’m so glad we did. The open-air café is a popular spot with a big offering of just about everything you can think of in their breakfast buffet but the omelet station was the star of the show for us.
On our dining list for our next trip to the Hilton Anatole will the SĒR Steak + Spirits located on the top floor of the hotel. The view is breathtaking and the menu looked amazing. Those booking this promotion get a free appetizer or dessert too. We will be back for this one for sure!
