When it comes to kids birthday parties, I have to admit I am sort of picky. I am past the point of wanting to have them at my home where I spend weeks prepping and cleaning up. Yet I want something super fun, clean, and private for my birthday boy to feel special and not surrounded by 10 other kids parties. There are some great outdoor party options around here but unfortunately we live in a place with super unpredictable weather. January could be 75 degrees and gorgeous or it could be 10 degrees and a ice storm.
My middle son’s birthday is in January and this year after much research I decided to have his party at the new Peek N Play in Grapevine. This place is a kids heaven and they have things for little ones as well as bigger kids to enjoy. The big hit here is the huge treehouse with a slide that lands you in the biggest clear ball pit you have ever seen! My favorite part? The private party room that is clean, spacious and provides everything you need for a kids party. You can bring your own décor or they can provide it. They have many different party packages ranging from $375 to $1695 and let me tell you….totally worth it!
I have made a list here of my other favorite spots for a kids’ party from a picky mom:
Pump it up: A big place full of the biggest bounce houses you have ever seen and reasonably priced parties? Yes please! Pump it up has it all. Even a private party room just for you! Prices start around $200.
Gymboree: This place is fantastic for a kids ages 2-5. You get the entire space to yourself and the private party room is awesome! The time is divided up perfectly with games, free time, parachute fun, bubbles, and all the things that kids like about the classes they offer.
Obstacle Warriors: Calling all superheroes and ninja warriors! This place is great for kids 4 and older with a lot of energy. I would never miss a party that we are invited to here because I know my kids will take a 3 hour nap after. The party room is private however there are other parties going on at the same time. They even have a coach that will provide obstacles and coaching with the kids for an extra $100. Party packages start at $375.
American Girl: If I had a daughter I would definitely be partying here! The most girly place around and perfect for girls 3 and older that love playing with dolls. Prices start at $30 per child depending on the package that you want. Think of this like afternoon tea yet for girls, their moms, and baby dolls of course!
Little Lakewood Salon: Remember the old Bake n Play? Well this is their new concept! Parties are for toddlers up to age 8 and range from spa party with mani/pedis, hair styles, to princess, pirate and superhero! Prices start at $199 and include a private party room.
Pinstack: What kid wouldn’t love a bowling party? And then on top of it throw in great food, huge arcade, laser tag, ropes course, bumper cars and more! This is the ultimate party place for your older (5+) kids. Packages start at $19.99 per child and include a private party room.
Soar United: Ninjas unite at SOAR! Private party room and a obstacle course like no other! Perfect party for toddlers to teens and they have a special area for the little’s so no need to worry! Party packages start at $299.
