If you are a work-from-home mom like me, you know how hard it can be to carve out that space and time to get things done. Half the time I’m working, I have a child on my lap and one trying to “work with me,” or I’m working to the Cocomelon soundtrack. That’s why I love finding great places to work like low-key coffee shops. Thankfully, in a city like Dallas there is no shortage!
La La Land Kind Cafe
There are quite a few Dallas locations, but this coffee shop has the best work vibes. It’s pretty quiet, has an amazing menu (try the matcha latte), and most of them have seating inside and outside.
Halcyon Coffee Bar
Come for the coffee, stay for the brunch. Not only will you find a great environment, delicious coffee, and a relaxing atmosphere, but the menu is also amazing! Located at 2900 Greenville Ave.
Houndstooth Coffee
There are a few locations around Dallas, and this is a great spot that tends not to be too crowded.
Weekend Coffee
If you need a spot for a work meeting, this is a great one! Located in the beautiful Joule hotel, Weekend Coffee has a great selection of coffees and fabulous people watching while you work. Located at 1511 Commerce Street.
Sip | Stir
Lots of window seats and a great place to plug in your headphones and get some work done. The coffee is delicious, and the service is top notch! Located uptown at 3800 McKinney Ave.
Ascension Coffee
This is one of my favorites, and there are several Dallas area locations. The Design District location even has an afternoon tea if you’ve had too much coffee. Highly recommend checking this one out and marking it off your coffee bucket list.
