Epic Waters is the new, indoor water park in Grand Prairie. I had no idea what to expect when we arrived at Epic Waters, but wow. oh wow. It’s amazing. It’s easy to get to from Dallas, and you will be impressed by it’s colossal size as you drive up! No matter the weather, you can enjoy Epic Waters year round! With 80,000 square feet of space, there is something for everyone in your family to enjoy this summer!
Here are 5 things to bring for your trip to Epic Waters:
Sunscreen: Just because it is indoors, doesn’t mean you won’t be enjoying the sun! The retractable roof opens in two different section, so no matter the weather, Epic Waters provides the best environment to enjoy the water park year-round! Don’t be fooled, that sun still pours through, so make sure to pack the sunscreen and reapply as necessary! The morning of our trip, there was a cool breeze flowing through the windows, but we had to keep our shades on!
Swimsuit: Because mama, it’s gonna look so fun, you’re going to want to be able to jump in and splash with your kiddos. I had just as much more fun than my three-year-old checking out all the slides in Rascal’s Round-Up during the Tiny Tot time. There are plenty of attractions to jump in and play with your kids at Epic Waters!
Beach bag and a towel: You won’t need it for 5 hours, but yes, bring a towel. Epic Waters has towels available for sale in their retail shop, but you’re going to want to pack up your beach towels for the trip! The beach bag is for the towels!
Energy: There is so much to do at Epic Waters! Even if you are in Racal’s Round-Up all morning with your toddler, you won’t stop sliding and splashing in the water, or waiting for the 300-gallon pail to dump water on you! If you can pry yourself away, take refuge and refuel on the lazy river in an Epic Waters inner-tube. Maybe slide on over to the Epic Waters bar, Longboards, for a cool-down. And then jump right back into the fun!
Adventure: Especially if you have older kids, you’re going to need to check out all the crazy water slides and FlowRider surf simulator…or maybe just sit and watch your kids try it?! There are plenty of viewing areas to watch your kids tackle the great attractions at Epic Waters! If you are a mom planning the summer, or a grandma getting ready for a week with the grandkids, Epic Waters should be on your list of activities!
Epic Waters books fast, so take advantage of extra park hours as an annual pass holder! Or, book tickets for slower days, usually Mondays or Tuesdays, and take your kids under 42″ to Tiny Tot time on Tuesday and Thursdays.
Epic Waters also offers great packages for birthdays and events!
Epic Waters is a water park that is perfect for the whole family to enjoy this summer!
