I’ve learned that having a GREAT “go to ” venue in your back pocket is critical for all stages of life. In your 20’s, it’s for bridal showers, wedding receptions, and luncheons. In your 30’s, it’s now hosting baby showers and PTA parties. Then in your 40’s it’s birthday parties, corporate events, and reunions.

This Spring, we worked with the Rooftop Event Spot in Historic Downtown Plano for our 6th annual Bloom event and I’m proud to say, this is now my “go to” venue. Here are my three reasons why!

Rooftop Event Spot is located on the 4th floor directly above the popular Urban Rio & Urban Crust restaurants in the original Plano Ice House (built in 1917)!
This indoor & outdoor event-ready venue has over 4,000 square feet of flexible floor space that can be customized to your needs. Whether you’re planning a large moms night out like Bloom or a luncheon for your best friend’s 40th, Rooftop will be able to create a warm, welcoming space for your event.
The Gorgeous Views
The best part of Rooftop isn’t just the historical feel of the venue, but the breathtaking views! On beautiful nights, step out onto their patio for a panoramic view of Historic Downtown Plano and beyond. As an added bonus, plan an event that will allow your guests to take in the full experience of a gorgeous Texas Sunset over the city.
The Incredible Staff
You can have a great physical space, but have the whole experience be ruined with a staff that makes planning and execution difficult. Not at Rooftop! From the beginning, you’ll experience a friendly and welcoming team that will patiently walk you through each detail of planning. They’re not pushy, but genuinely encouraging and will want your event to be as successful as possible.
But of course, having your event catered by Urban Rio or Urban Crust isn’t a terrible way to make your event complete either!
