We’re all familiar with the major retailers and how they corner the market on school supplies. I mean, Target literally has a “Cute School Supplies” section. Here we have some additional (local and online) shops where you’ll find both school and teaching supplies:
Lakeshore Learning :: They’re currently in the midst of a big back-to-school sale. Look for a specially curated section on ‘At Home Learning.’ If you prefer, buy online, pick up curbside!
Teacher’s Tools :: Look for the ‘Learning at Home’ section to shop online or visit one of their locations in Lewisville, McKinney, or Hurst.
Asel Art Supply :: Founded in Dallas over 60 years ago! Shop online, visit the stores (Dallas, Richardson, Plano), or order ahead for curbside pickup. They just started getting into the YouTube tutorial game; fingers crossed for more videos.
Oil & Cotton :: In addition to virtual classes, they sell kits in their shop for all sorts of artistic endeavors and age groups, like their ‘Everything You Need to Be an Artist’ kits for toddlers, kinder, kid, tween, and teen.
Hobby Town USA :: Has there ever been a better time for a kid to get wrapped up in a new hobby? Buy online or browse and check store availability at your nearest location.
Barnes & Noble :: I sometimes forget just how much they’ve added to their inventory besides books. On their site you’ll find an extensive ‘Get Ready for School’ area with lots of sections like grade, age group, subject matter, and more.
Etsy :: Search ‘school supplies’ for all sorts of items, particularly the personalized kind (labels, pencils, etc.).
