Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl combine honey, eggs, vanilla, salt, and cornstarch. Mix together using a mixer on low speed or by hand until thoroughly combined. Stir in pecans and melted butter. Pour into pie shell and bake on a sheet pan for 45 minutes. Let pie cool completely before serving with whipped cream.
